Strange Anthem

I’m a solo singer song writer and producer based in Melbourne, Australia.
I have an experiment to share, which represents a journey that charts my experiences in a life that’s no less strange than anyone else’s. Those experiences are not just my own but other people; people I have observed, loved and loathed.
I have conveyed my experiences through song. I like to think of my music as a fusion of the old and the new, from the rawness and simplicity of guitar, ranging from ambient acoustics to grinding electrics, to the subsonic punch and complexity of electronic sounds.
The sound is all about power, groove and atmosphere wrapped up in an honest drama-pathos. It takes you through a story that possesses layers of meaning that’s open to interpretation, there’s something personal for everyone to draw from.
If you must put my music in a genre, perhaps it fits in electro rock whilst drawing influences from industrial, grunge, dark wave trance, 80’s romantic with some hip hop undertones. The solid rhythm sections in my songs are derived from my experience as drummer, of the metal/rock variety.
As for the rest, I experimented with synths and effects that led me down the rabbit hole of endless possibilities.
I want to create music because I have a story to tell, in this form I can best make a connection with people.
